Dean’s Message

Prof. Levent Akdeniz, İİBF Dekanı

At TED University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, our most fundamental goal is to educate our students not only with professional knowledge, but also as individuals equipped with the ways of thinking, values, and competencies required by the contemporary world. We are fully aware that becoming a successful manager in today’s environment requires much more than technical expertise; it demands adaptability to change, critical thinking, and the ability to integrate diverse perspectives.

In this regard, we place great importance on ensuring that our students develop a “global citizen” vision from the very beginning. One of our core priorities is to educate individuals who follow global developments closely, understand different cultures, and can effectively operate in international environments. Students who are curious, questioning, and who embrace learning as a lifelong process are at the center of our educational philosophy.

Our approach to education is not limited to the transfer of theoretical knowledge. We focus on strengthening our students’ analytical thinking, problem-solving, and synthesis abilities. In a constantly changing and uncertain business environment, our aim is to prepare individuals who are flexible, able to adapt quickly, and capable of performing effectively under varying conditions. At the same time, we encourage them to develop strong communication skills and to express their ideas clearly, confidently, and persuasively.

As a faculty, our overarching objective is for our graduates to become individuals who can assume responsibility in leading institutions in Turkey and around the world, demonstrate leadership potential, and achieve rapid career progression. In line with this, we aim to provide our students not only with knowledge, but also with vision, self-confidence, and a strong ethical foundation.

In conclusion, studying at the TED University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences is not merely about earning a degree; it is about embarking on a journey to become a well-equipped, competitive individual capable of making a meaningful impact on a global scale.
