Assistant Professor Mehmet Arısan presented at the ‘Turkish Studies Project Conference III: The Ottoman Empire and World War I’ in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina on May 16-19, 2012. The title of his presentation was “The Dream of Conquest in Defeat: World War One and the Emergence of a Troubled Modernity”.
